FrameRunning / RaceRunning Coached Sessions

FrameRunning (or RaceRunning) is an adapted sport for individuals who rely on sports aids for mobility and balance.  A Frame Runner is a three-wheeled frame where the user, supported by a saddle and body plate, propels themselves forward using their feet whilst steering with their hands.  With Frame Running, you can walk or run and not worry about falling over.

A FREE 12 week block is being organised starting in April & July 2022.

Our senior section is well known, with many a member over the last few years participating in marathons across the county.  As well as training, we regularly participate in local and further running events, so you'll always been in great company.

Haddington East Lothian Pacemakers (HELP) was founded in 1983 as a result of people watching the first London Marathon in 1981.  Founding member, Henry Muchamore was the main driving force, pushing the club forward in establishing a very well respected, competitive club. The HELP vest has raced all over the world and will always remain a big part of the lives of those who wore it with pride.

The club now operates under the new name of Haddington Running Club. The Aubigny Sports Centre is busy now every Wednesday evening with the squad that everyone has worked so hard at developing and the future looks bright.

Athletics Club: Team East Lothian - Development Squad

Team East Lothian Athletics Club was formed in 2013 by the three county athletics clubs; Dunbar Running Club, Haddington Running Club and Musselburgh and District AC.  The initial aim was to develop an East Lothian based pathway for young athletes to reach their full potential.

The club now has a strong specialist coaching team supporting a large group of young, keen athletes who are delivering inspiring results at Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field, and at Cross Country events at local, district, national and international levels.

Team East Lothian now works together with the other clubs to promote athletics to people of all ages and abilities across the county through a variety of programmes, competitions and events.
