History of Fisherrow Bowling Green

The Fisherrow Bowling Green has been a focal point for recreational activity within the town since 1951, when it official opened thanks in part to a substantial contribution by the Musselburgh War Charities Committee.    The Bowling Greens were built to pay tribute to the valuable public services reneded during the second world war by members of the committee and particularly the late Herert Millar Town Clerk of Musselburgh and Mrs Effie Millar, his widow.   

Play Today!

Today, Fisherrow Bowling Greens are just as accessible as it was when it first opened.  For fun, for recreation, for social gatherings, for group visits and of course .. the odd game of Bowls too!

No membership is required, you can turn up and play.
