Make a splash at Dunbar Leisure Pool This October Holiday

Looking for ways to keep the kids entertained over the October holidays? Head to Dunbar Leisure Pool and enjoy the flumes and the newly refurbished wave machine, perfect for the drizzly East Lothian weather.

Earlier this year, the pool was temporarily closed for refurbishment, which included essential upgrades to the wave machine. This work was supported by the East Lothian Council Community Intervention Fund.

Bill Axon, our Chief Executive, said, “We’re extremely grateful to our partner East Lothian Council for providing a level of support through the Community Intervention Fund. The refurbishment has extended the life of our wave machine, which is a firm favourite among families both local to Dunbar and from across East Lothian and beyond.

“The team really look forward to the October holidays in particular, the weather isn’t always great at this time of year so we see lots of visitors through our door, both new and returning.”

Dunbar Leisure Pool can, on occasions, be exceptionally busy and during peak periods and there can be a wait time, but this should not put you off as any waiting time is worth it.
