The Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (FOI) enables any person to obtain information about Scottish public authorities.

As of 1st April 2014 this legal right of access includes all types of ‘recorded information’ held by Enjoy East Lothian Ltd (enjoyleisure).

Under the Act, any person who makes a request for information, must be provided with it, subject to certain conditions.

Publication Scheme

The Act also places an obligation on Scottish public authorities to adopt and maintain a publication scheme.

Enjoy East Lothian Ltd has adopted the Scottish Information Commissioner’s Single Model Publication Scheme 2014 in its entirety.

  • Explains how to easily access this information
  • If any charges apply, and what they are.

  • How to request information that is not published within the publication scheme.
