It is with regret that we must advise customers that it is our intention to withdraw our crèche service from our facilities as of 12noon on Friday 26th April 2019.

The service will continue to operate Monday - Friday up to and including Friday 26th April, with the exception of Good Friday & Easter Monday.

We fully appreciate how disappointing this news will be for customers, and for this we offer our sincerest apologies.

Booking Guidelines

Crèche bookings are highly recommended and can be made up to 7 days in advance by contacting the Sports Centre directly.

Please note the crèche operates strict adult to child ratio depending on the age of the children in their care.

Please inform us at the time of booking of any special needs / medical conditions your child has, for example, asthma, epilepsy etc.

Crèche Guidelines

Parents must stay within the Sports Centre while their children are in the crèche.

An adult, aged over 16 years, must sign each child in and out of the crèche. We expect the same person will drop off and collect a child. Should someone else be collecting your child, please inform the Crèche Assistant of his or her details.

Please do not bring your child to the crèche if they are unwell. Should your child become unwell during the session, you may be asked to take him/her home.

Please note that our Crèche Assistants are not permitted to change nappies without consent.

Refreshments for the children may be provided within the crèche. Please inform us of any special dietary requirements your child has. If preferred, you are welcome to provide your own snack.

A settling in period may be required for children who are new to the crèche. We ask parents / guardians to co-operate with the Crèche Assistants during this time.

Some crèches provide craft activities. Although we provide protective garments, we cannot take any responsibility for damage to clothing.

In the event of a fire or other emergency evacuation, parents/guardians must not return to the crèche. Crèche Assistants will take the children quickly to the designated assembly point from where they can be collected by parents/guardians.

Crèche Assistants would be happy to discuss these guidance notes and for you to visit the crèche prior to your child's first visit.
